Client Background

A client from the Middle East approached us with a need to launch a custom-branded truck headlight tailored for their local retrofit market. Their requirements included a unique appearance, enhanced brightness, and precise fitment. The client provided us with a physical sample and requested a full OEM customization based on it.

1. Sample Received & Technical Evaluation

The client shipped the sample to us for evaluation. Our engineering team carried out a detailed analysis:

• Dimensional measurement & structural breakdown

• Bulb type & PCB layout review

• Material assessment (lens, housing, reflector)

→ A 3D model was created based on the sample, with suggestions for optional upgrades

2. Technical Discussion & Specification Confirmation

We held a technical meeting with the client to finalize:

• Whether to keep the original design

• Desired light color & brightness

• Mounting compatibility with target trucks

• Branding/logo printing preferences

→ After confirming all specifications, we proceeded to sample production

3. Prototyping & Testing

A CNC-milled prototype was created and assembled. It underwent thorough testing:

4. Tooling & Mass Production

Upon sample approval, the client signed off on production. We began mold development and arranged batch production:

• Tooling lead time: ~60 days

• First batch: 500 sets with 30% deposit

• Strict quality control at every stage (incoming, inline, and 100% final lighting test)

5. Custom Branding & Shipment

The client requested branded packaging. We helped design the artwork, confirm materials, and coordinate printing.
